New Years is over let’s get started – Introduction

1371

I wish to bring you greetings for 2012, may God richly amaze you with new and wonderous things this year.  As you are going through this website and stopping here at my letter, you may be wondering who I am.  Who I am is not as important as who’s I am.  There is an important dynamic here.  I am a believer in God the Father and Creator, of Jesus Christ, His risen Son, the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel (good news) of the Kingdom of God.  That is what’s important.

This morning as I woke in this New Year comforted in knowing that today when I see one of the creators of this website, I can present my first message to be posted.  Instead I felt that the message I need to share needed to be changed.  So here it comes.  It is simple and easy.

Whether you are a new believer or not, you may be aware of the loads of worldly prophets that are out there talking about 2012 being the year that everything is coming to an end.  Let me assure you that first of all God is in control.  He owns the Earth and everything on it and in it.  The Word says the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.  So you have nothing to worry about.  Jesus our Lord and Savior has been able to free us of the sentence of death put on us from when man fell from the presence of God back in the Garden of Eden.  Jesus is the Author of our salvation.  He is our Kinsman Redeemer.  So what am I saying?  Do not be afraid, I want to share with you a very short and simple message for 2012.  It goes like this.

Please read out loud to yourself. Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.  Little ones to Him belong, for they are weak and He is strong.  Yes, Jesus loves me.  Yes Jesus loves me.  Yes, Jesus loves me.  The Bible tells me so.

I am sure you remember that song from your childhood.  Jesus loves me is a strong and important message because it’s the truth and the world needs to hear it and see it.  This year more than ever people will hear the doom and gloom messages of the world coming to an end.  The Church needs to be very vocal about this fact – that Jesus loves them.  The Christians around the world need to demonstrate this message.  John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through Him.”   In this time of chaos, we need to remember that there is order for our lives and it is called the Kingdom of God.  That God is working through His people to demonstrate that He is the Lord.  What better message we can share than the loving message of salvation and peace.  This year let’s live the message before the world.  Our God saves.  He has set the captives free.  Whatever you are dealing with, it is not bigger than God and He will get you through.

That is my message, “Jesus loves you”.

So are you still wondering who I am?  You will have to keep reading.  I am, by myself. nothing without the message of the Kingdom of God.  Who are you?

Blessings, in His Name,

Dave
