Rise to The Call
May 10th, 2013
Rise to The Call Worship & Prayer in The Twin Ports “Duluth, Minnesota & Superior, Wisconsin” This Friday

This meeting is held at Living Stones Fellowship 115 West Myrtle Street, Duluth, MN 55811. Every second Friday of the month. This months gathering will be May 10th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm Central time USA.

1 Samuel 10 And it will happen, when you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with a stringed instrument, a tambourine, a flute, and a harp before them; and they will be prophesying. Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another person. And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you.

These musicians, are coming down from Virginia and Meadowlands Minnesota . These skilled minstrels & psalmists may worship for several hours at a time. This is not music for performance or entertainment but done in excellence for and before our God. You are encouraged to join in what we call multitude worship. This truly is worship in spirit and in truth.

This month we will be broadcasting video on ustream.tv and audio on PGNRadio.com

What we are all about

At Pure Gospel Network we have been recording and re-broadcasting the prayers and praises of the saints. As PGN grows we have added an ever increasing amount of live worship and inspired preaching. We have had to add storage space, a second web site and a backup server to distribute the load and ensure reliability.

This is how we believe God is bringing together 24 hour worship through PGN with participants joining in prayer and worship as we stream His Praises around the world. This also is an effective outreach letting our lights shine into hearts, in homes and through portable devices, found around the world. Truly we live up to our tag line; Your voice in the wilderness!

All music played on PGN Radio is worship, live or recorded live, originating from our sanctuary. Inspired participants, skilled minstrels & psalmists may worship for several hours at a time. This is not music for performance or entertainment but done in excellence for and before our God. You are encouraged to join in what we call multitude worship. This truly is worship in spirit and in truth.

PGN Radio monthly averages over 400 regular listeners representing 55 different countries. Together we exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy. Psalm 99.9

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning

Blessings to all this year, Wise men still seek Him!

(Psalms 5:3) My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. Sometimes we lose sight of what God has set before us. I heard a man say, “I went to Jerusalem and sat on the mountain where Jesus was crucified  and heard nothing”. Therefore he reasoned, God does not know me.  If we look for God among the sorrows and the dead we will find sorrow and death.

My counsel  to you is to look up, discern the times and follow the path He has set before you. First let Him hear your voice, His Spirit will direct your prayer however,  you must direct your eyes to see Him. (Titus 2:13) Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;

PGN Internet Radio was created in one of those moments when I was on the mountain seeking God. Although weak I let my voice be heard and His Spirit made me strong. I looked up and was given a vision of continual prayer, praise and worship that extended as light around the world. This light brought hope in the darkness, re- illuminated paths that were once bright but have become dim.

Out of  that we have been recording and re-broadcasting the prayers of the saints over the internet. As PGN grew we have added an ever increasing amount of live worship. This is how we believe God is bringing together 24 hour worship through PGN streaming around the world.  All music played on PGN Internet Radio is worship, live or recorded live, originating from our sanctuary. Inspired participants, skilled minstrels  & psalmists may worship for several hours at a time. This is not music for performance or entertainment but done in excellence for and before our God. PGN Internet Radio monthly streams to over 550 regular listeners representing 60 different countries. Together we Exalt the Lord our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy. Psalm 99.9

sal·va·tion noun \sal-va-shen\

sal·va·tion noun \sal-va-shen\

Merriam-Webster defines salvation as: The deliverance from the power and effects of sin. What is edited out of today’s dictionary is how you might obtain this salvation through Jesus Christ. Our dictionary has changed but or God and the Bible has not! Let me further define this term using the written Word of God.

  • The bible declares that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. You see, God made a way, through Jesus, that we might be delivered from the power and effects of sin!
  • We are all sinners. . . As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one.” Romans 3:10
  • We need to repent. . .  “But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Matthew 9:13 ”I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3
  • God loves you. . . “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
  • Christ died for you in order to make a way to save you. . . For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
  • But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
  • The GOOD NEWS is “Christ will save you now. . . If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. Romans 10:9-10 For “whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
  • You may invite the spirit of God to come and live inside of you by sincerely praying. Prayer is nothing more than, talking with God. Something available to you anytime, and anywhere.  How about now?

Here is an example of the prayer I used. God’s Spirit overwhelmed me that day and has been with me ever since! Salvation is for me and it can be for you too.

Lord Jesus, I want to stop trusting in myself and what I can do and start trusting in you and what you have already done when you died for me on the cross. I know I am a sinner and I invite you to come and live inside of me. I want you to be my savior and my Lord which means being #1 in my life. I want to repent and turn away from everything you and the Bible call sin and I totally commit myself to obeying you everyday, for the rest of my life. Thank you Jesus
