Project Revive implemented!

We have a clear focus, to serve low-income people in our region by recycling used computers, providing hands-on training, assisting individuals, families & community-based service organizations in using technology in their work. PGN eCyclers reusing retired technology to positively impact our communities.

Old Computers Help Change Lives

PGN eCyclers, the concept in action, started out many years ago as a church outreach in which we did the same work on a smaller scale helping one or two individuals at a time. In the past three years the response and demand became so great that it developed into a full time business! We believe that this is because of the current economic turmoil in our country plus the desire to contribute to environmental stewardship.

A refurbished PC is a pre-owned computer that is decommissioned, refurbished, and loaded with genuine Microsoft software which provides an affordable way to expand access to technology for schools, charities, businesses, and home users that are unable to afford a new PC. Reusing PCs also helps to reduce e-waste and contributes to environmental stewardship worldwide.

Old desktops, laptops and other computer technology might be ready to retire but they can still travel the world on important missions. We are not trying to take over the local re-cycling business, however we are reviving a large portion of retired working or repairable used computer equipment. By donating surplus computer equipment to PGN eCyclers you help schools, charities, businesses, families & local organizations meet their technology budgets so they can focus on their objectives.

Learn or revive your computer skills. We offer one on one and classroom Digital Literacy training. We want everyone who is using our refurbished equipment to be familiar with the software and hardware controls. Sometimes “the basics” is all we need to get us going and PGN wants to ensure that everyone is able to use technology to their advantage. Technology can even improve or revive your quality of life!

Although we refurbish computers all year long the staff at PGN are so passionate about helping other people that we are planning an end of the year charitable technology event that will put refurbished computers into the hands of several hundred individuals, simultaneously, across our region. This will be accomplished by involving and partnering with businesses, individuals, and community-based service organizations that share our passion of reusing retired technology to positively impact our communities!
